I've been in Tahiti for one week now. I seem to have adjusted to the weather nicely and, for the most part, I love it. There are supposed to be strong winds coming in the next few days, so we have decided to stay at Marina Taina until Wednesday, then sail to Moorea. For the last two days we have gone out on the dingy to the coral reef and snorkeled. The water is unbelievably clear. We've had a lot of fun trying to identify all the fish. I know I saw a puffer fish yesterday, but for the most part I just love all the colors of the fish. I'm getting a little tan...no burn this time! We are going on a hike today and maybe find some waterfalls. If its too hot, I'm returning to the ocean!!
This marina is pretty nice. Clean bathrooms are always a plus for me! But the interesting part are all the boat here from all over the world. There actually was a yacht from Sausalito that came in for fuel, but left before we were able to speak with them. The HUGE yachts are from the Caymen Islands. They are absolutely beautiful with full crews on board. Last night one of them had a big party into the wee hours of the night. Unfortunately, we only could listen to the music from across the marina
