It has been two weeks since we boarded the water taxi in Bora Bora and headed to the airport. It was a long day of travel and we were very tired by the time we got to Napa. Almost immediately I was back in Mom mode, helping to pack up Gabriella, celebrating Jerry's birthday, catching up with Allie and her plans to go to Costa Rica this month and making a quick trip down to Long Beach to attend my dear friend, Jackie Hannah's wedding to Brendan Smith. Now Gabriella has finished her first week of her sophomore year at Saint Mary's, Allie's plans for Costa Rica are all firmed up. Jerry is back in full swing at work and the golf course and I am enjoying the peace I find around me (although I know it won't last long).
Although I had some adjusting to do when I first got to the South Pacific and living on the boat, I will look back on this adventure with many wonderful memories. At this moment I am very happy to be home and am content to stay here for a while, but you know me...I'm already planning my next adventure!
